About Us

 

The Branch is one of the oldest supporters clubs and was formed in 1968, the first meeting was held on the 12th September 1968, at The Angel on King Street. Since then the branch has had headquarters at the Central Library Club, The Commercial, The Old General, The Newborough, The Astley Arms (Top Astley) and more recently back at The Angel.

The branch has always received good local hospitality and great support over the many years since we were formed.

Events over the years have included:

Anniversary dinner celebrations for 21, 25, 30 and 50 years of the Dukinfield supporters Club - these were held at The Dukinfield Golf Club, The Old General, and Dukinfield Masonic Hall

​

Guest for occasions included - Steve Daley, Paul Lake, Jason Beckford, Jimmy Frizzel, Steve Lomas, Roy Little, Roy Clarke, Bernard Halford, Alex Stepney and Jim Cassell.
